Introduction

About 20 years ago, in an attempt to find a gentle soap for my daughter and her two girls, who at the time were toddlers, I considered several different types of soaps and gentle skin cleansers to ease their “itchies” and rashes.  Each product worked to some extent, but none of them could entirely clear up their various skin allergies.  After a little digging and research, I managed to make my own glycerin soap base.  This was a clear base, with a soft transparent appearance like glass; no scent, no colorants.  This did the trick. NO allergy problems.

At some point a friend said “why don’t you try some scents and colors for fun?” I rounded up some organic essential Lemongrass Oil and some yellow and green skin-safe colorant and poured the most beautiful bars I had ever seen. I was hooked.

Making my own glycerin soap base is time consuming and tricky. I wasn’t interested in reinventing the wheel, so I canvassed the United States for the best quality bases I could find; not necessarily the cheapest.  I also searched for the best organic essential oils, skin enhancing ingredients, and colorants I could find. The rewards were enormous; I could make glycerin soap bars that would leave the skin clean and not dry out even the most sensitive skin.

I was obsessed.  I wanted so much to do more, but times were financially tough; I worked construction (became a certified welder in mig, tig and stick) and I took on art commissions between construction jobs.  Between scrambling to pay bills and working there was never enough time to carefully research, develop, and market my products, which I was very proud of, into an upscale business.  This was frustrating when there were so many inquiries about the products.

Finally I was able to retire, and went on to developing and testing light lotions to ultra rich body butters, a fantastic face serum, along with a nighttime companion cream, a makeup primer that WON’T ‘PILL’, and several premium skin acne products that I can hardly wait to announce and release.

A very important part of creating the best possible body care products is feedback, and I welcome it.
